isn't *too* hot for us here in Seattle, but my bedroom is on the sunset side of the house... It would have been hotter if I didn't have the dark curtains and fans.The maximum temperature we get here in Seattle is 90-95F (32-37C) or so, usually for three or four days -- maybe for a week. Usually in summer it's 80-85F (27-31C).RE: Chicago, Orlando weather, etc. East of the Rockies it not only gets hot in summer, but it also gets very humid -- especially in the South. The air is hot and sticky.Some parts of the East are worse for humidity than others. It's one reason they all have air conditioning.Here hardly anyone has air conditioning. Usually just fans.Here in Seattle the air usually isn't sticky in summer.
